Arjowiggins Graphic commits to reducing its GHG emissions
As part of its strategic partnership with WWF France dating from 2008, Arjowiggins Graphic has committed to reducing its carbon footprint and implementing a resource-efficient business model.
The division has just joined the WWF Climate Savers programme that brings together an elite group of 28 of the world’s leading companies who have committed to voluntarily reducing their GHG emissions.
Arjowiggins Graphic is the first European paper producer to sign up and it is aiming to reduce its carbon footprint by 23% between 2007 and 2014.

Coala, a new digital European product range
Visual Communication is a top priority for Antalis. That is why Antalis has launched a new European range of flexible eco friendly media for Large Format Printing (LFP) in order to strengthen its foothold in this market.
Named Coala, the collection contains substrates adapted to all types of ink for both indoor and outdoor applications including a broad range of papers, self-adhesives, banners, textiles, wallpapers and other innovative media.

Partnering digital printing
Antalis has launched its d2b (digital to business) initiative, designed to help customers harness the full potential of digital printing. As part of the French d2b launch, the group organised a “tour de France” around nine major cities in late 2011 in partnership with HP Indigo and Canon that brought together over 500 players from the digital technology sector.
Antalis also used these occasions to present its Digigreen, 100% digital and 100% green range. This innovative approach will be rolled out to other European countries in 2012.
Improving the de-inking process for printed documents
In 2011, Arjowiggins Graphic partnered with Hewlett Packard to improve the de-inking process for documents printed on HP Indigo and HP inkjet digital web presses, which lag significantly behind standard printed documents in terms of recycling.
This mission has been accomplished thanks to pioneering technologies developed at the Greenfield (France) recycled pulp plant for recycling documents printed on HP Indigo with a liquid toner and HP Inkjet with a solid toner. This helps to divert waste from landfills at the end of the products’ useful lives.

Partner of Contemporary Art at the FIAC
For its third consecutive year, the Group continues its policy of cultural patronage by building on a partnership with the prestigious International Contemporary Art Fair (FIAC).
The catalogue; a book on the fair’s history, entitled Aux Tuileries; and the VIP guides are printed on graphic and creative papers. At this event, Arjowiggins Creative Papers will launch in France its new Keaykolour range (11 new vibrant colours, a wider choice of grammages and strong environmental credentials). It will also present artwork created by the artist and designer Ian Wright, who collaborated with this project.
